Owen Omogiafo, the President/CEO of Transcorp was honoured as the Outstanding Female Achiever of the Year and Hospitality Person of the Year at the 8th edition of Democracy Heroes Awards held at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, last week.
She emerged as the Outstanding Female Achiever for 2020 after a two-month public voting process. Owen had been nominated for the award alongside Sadiya Farouq, Federal Minister of Humanitarian Affairs; Mo Abudu, MD/CEO Ebony Life TV; and Amy Jadesimi, MD/CEO Lagos Deep Offshore Logistics Base (LADOL).
